Sex Education

Sex education is part of Personal, Social and Health Education and is not dealt with as a separate issue, but is integrated into the curriculum.

Sex education in school is treated as a joint school/parent responsibility that should be dealt with sensitively. We try to place it in the context of family life.

The Governors are responsible for the Sex Education policy, a copy of which is available in school.

As members of Suffolk's Healthy Schools Initiative, the children, staff, parents and governors are involved in promoting physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
