Car Parking
We are fortunate that there is a car park conveniently close to school, and if children are brought to school by car, parents should use the community car park opposite. When the community car park is full the lower playground is available 8.30am - 8.50am and from 2.50pm most days. Please do not park on the grass or use this car park with heavy vehicles or vehicles that you know drip oil. Last one out shuts the gate!
Careful parking and car sharing whenever possible will help to ease congestion.
Parents should not pull on to the verges on either side of the road when collecting or bringing children into school. Such parking, even briefly, causes a safety hazard to other parents, children and road users.
Our local Community Police Officer visits from time to time to ensure that these basic safety precautions are met.
We rely on the goodwill and thoughtfulness of parents.
Photography and IT at School
Parents/carers of every child at school will be asked to sign a photography at school permission form together with forms for Internet, Web Site and Learning Zone permission when they start at Rougham.
Children may be photographed whilst in school or during outside activities - occasionally by the press. If you do not wish your child to appear in these photographs please let the school know. |
