We aim to promote positive attitudes towards learning and we have high expectations of children in terms of quality of work, relationships and behaviour.
We foster independence and responsibility as well as the ability to work co-operatively with others.
Both children and staff share in maintaining a friendly and caring atmosphere which is an important feature of our school.
Care, courtesy and consideration for others and good conduct within the school are of fundamental importance.
Our School Discipline and Positive Behaviour Policy has been drawn up in collaboration with all members of the school community, especially the children, and is shared with parents.
Bullying, verbal or physical, will not be tolerated at Rougham school. It is everyone's responsibility to prevent it happening and with this in mind, the governors have laid down guidelines as part of the school's policy.
