In an attractive village setting, Rougham School has been carefully extended and developed over recent years and is now organised into five classes.
The school has a library and two shared practical areas - one adjoining Pine and Ash, and the other linking Beech and Oak
- giving us the flexibility to enable children to work in smaller groups with Classroom / Learning Support Assistants when appropriate.

After the conversion of the Old School House, Willow Class
was opened for full and half-term Reception children in September 1997.
This is a bright, airy suite of rooms including classroom and play
areas which open on to their own enclosed garden.

The school has a heated shallow water swimming pool,
which is well used during the summer term and over the school holidays,
enabling children to develop their confidence and swimming skills.

We are very fortunate to have a large and attractive playing field as well as a hard surface playground,
and the children enjoy our environmental area with its pond and wildlife garden.
